Meta x Taiwan AI Academy Launch AI Curriculum Materials, Wagor Leads as a Partner
Wagor International School was honored to be invited to the 2025 Taiwan AI Academy Annual Conference, serving as the only high school representative in Taiwan among experts from industry, government, and academia to explore the future of AI.
At the opening ceremony, Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim emphasized that AI is lighting up every corner of our lives at lightning speed, but it also comes with risks. We need to use AI carefully and wisely, and make sure it helps balance talent across Taiwan, helping technology bridge gaps between cities and rural areas.
One of the major highlights of this year’s conference was the official launch of the AI Curriculum Materials. Led by Meta and Taiwan AI Academy, Wagor International School not only contributed to the curriculum development but is also the first and currently the only high school partner. During the event, Wagor’s team of teachers from both elementary and high school actively participated, demonstrating the school’s strong commitment to advancing AI literacy education.
Superintendent Roy Lee of Wagor International School said that the school plans to roll out a full AI digital literacy curriculum from kindergarten through high school, combining complete teaching materials, teacher guides, and real-world examples to ensure students and teachers can “learn it, use it well, and use it safely”. Standing at the forefront of education, Wagor looks forward to working with partners across society to create a school where technology and ethics go hand in hand, innovation meets responsibility, and AI becomes a natural part of everyday learning, opening up more possibilities for students.
